Public Education

Public education is what got Lisa involved in politics, and it will always be a top priority of hers as State Representative. As a former Vice President of the Radnor Township School District and a parent of two public school graduates, Lisa has led the way to invest in our public schools. She created one of the area’s first full-day kindergarten programs, completed major renovations at our schools, and invested in our teachers. Lisa will always fight for our public schools. 

Since entering office in 2023, Lisa has been proud to be part of a Pennsylvania legislature that has invested more than $3 billion in additional funding for public schools — representing a 35% increase in total education funding. Lisa was proud to support the Student Teacher Stipend program to help support new teachers training to enter the profession  and is working on legislation to lower the school nurse to student ratio and provide the funding needed to schools to hire more school nurses. New regulations like mandated recess and cursive instruction have been supported by Lisa and she is part of the conversation as the legislature considers a bell-to-bell cell phone ban.
